How we pay
No "competitive pay DOE" games — the numbers are right on the job.

You'll see an exact pay range on every position below. The bottom of the range is what we start someone with the listed skills at. The top is where you can earn with experience, reliability, and the kind of work that makes the crew better.

Weekly checks, no exceptions Paid every week, direct deposit or check. First week is held — that's standard contractor practice and we tell you up front. After that you get paid weekly for as long as you're on the crew.
Year-round income, not seasonal When the ground freezes and concrete season ends, we shift to masonry (year-round) and snow / roof shoveling. No winter layoff — that's a real differentiator for the UP.
We train the right people Several roles (Laborer, Yard & Inventory) don't need prior experience — we train you. Show up, work hard, ask questions. We'd rather teach attitude than work around bad habits. Most of our crew starts as a Laborer and grows into a Finisher or Mason, then a Lead — pay starts at $20 and climbs with experience.
You move up by being good at it Crew Leads earn $24–34/hr because they're accountable for crew safety and finished quality. Pay reviews are tied to what you bring — not a tenure clock. If you're better than your range, we move you up.
Heads up: we run a drug-free workplace. Pre-employment screen, random screens as required by job sites. Valid driver's license needed for any role that drives a company truck or visits sites.
